سورة احزاب کا خلاصہ
اسلامک سوسائٹی آف گریٹر ووسٹر ، میسیچوٹس، کی مسجد مسلمانوں کیلئے نہ صرف عبادت کی جگہ ہے، بلکہ یہاں اسلام کے علم کو نوجوان نسل تک پہچانے کیلئے، سال بھر مختلف لیکچرز، سیمینار اور مزاکرے منعقد کئے جاتے ہیں۔ سنڈے اسکول کے علاوہ ہر اتوار کو ڈاکٹر سلیم کھانانی، دین کی طلب رکھنے والے ، مختلف ثقافتوں سے متعلق افراد سے، مسجد اور زوم پر قرآن پر ، منتخب تفاسیر کا تقابلی جائزہ پیش کرتے ہیں اور درس کے اختتام پر سوال و جواب کا بھی اہتمام ہوتا ہے۔ اس درس کے کچھ طالب، انگلستان اور پاکستان سے بھی زوم پر شریک ہوتے ہیں۔
الحمد للٰہ میں بھی اس درس کا کئی سالوں سے مستقل شریک رہا ہوں۔
قرآن کی ہر سورۃ کے اختتام پر، درس کے شرکأ میں سے، کوئی ، اس سورۃ کا طائران جائزہ اور خلاصہ پیش کرتا ہے۔پچھلے اتوار کو سورۃ احزاب مکمل ہوئی اور مجھے ڈاکٹر سلیم کھانانی نے سورۃ احزاب کا خلاصہ پیش کرنے کو کہا ۔
چونکہ جیسا میں ابتدا میں بیان کر چکا ہوں کہ درس کے شرکأ کا تعلق مختلف ثقافتوں سے ہے لہذا درس انگریزی زبان میں ہوتا ہے۔
سورۃ احزاب کا جو خلاصہ میں نے پیش کیا وہی میں آپ کے سامنے پیش کر رہا ہوں
Soora e Ahzaab
It should be kept in mind that, my presentation is Summery of Soor e Ahzab. It is not TAFSEER
To understand the importance of
Soora e Ahzaab, it is necessary to keep in mind the back ground of that era.
We know that, after the Battle of Badar, when Non-believers faced a humiliating defeat, they were successful in their second attempt in Battle of OHAD due to the negligence of Muslims. This defeat gave, new energy, to non-believers, to unite, all the Arabian tribes to attack Madina.
After the battle of Ohad, the non-believers and hypocrites of Madina tried to explore this opportunity to spread mistrust, hate and suspicion, not only against Islam but against the character of the Prophet PBUH.
In this background, the Muslims were advised to adopt “prevention is better than cure” policy.
To combat this situation, Allah swt commands Muslims, through Soora e Ahzaab , to reform their Social Values and emerge with a complete different society being ruled by Allah’s directions instead of manmade laws.
These instructions include:
• To abandon those cultural norms which were being practiced through centuries in that society, but were not fit in Allah.s scheme. One of that cultural norms, was to adopt someone, as your own son/daughter and treat him/her as part of your family, in every aspect, at the extent that even inheritance was also awarded to adopted person. In Allah’s (swt) scheme, the inheritance applies solely on blood relations. According to Islam, no adoption is allowed because it encroach, the right of inheritance of every blood relative. To change this well-established mindset and uproot this adoption culture, which was being practiced for centuries, was not an easy task. Therefore Allah swt, wanted to demolish the very foundation of this scheme by nullifying completely the adoption theory. To accomplish that, Allah swt ORDERED Nabi e Kareem to marry Hazrat Zainab (who was divorced by Zaid bin Haris, the adopted son of Mohammad the Holy Prophet PBUH)
• It was declared that Prophet PBUH is not father of any male Muslim & HE is the last Prophet of Allah swt.
• Multiple marriages for normal Muslims and for Prophet PBUH bear different rules. Therefore, separate rules for the Prophet PBUH were revealed. According to those rules Prophet PBUH can have more wives.
• Muslims were instructed not to reply Non-believers & Hypocrites, when they, out of their jealousy, disrespect, abuse, call the Prophet PBUH by names. Instead they should leave and start remembering Allah swt with HIS ZIKR. They were reminded that due to their EEMAAN, they have acquired a noble place in the eyes of Allah swt and thus, became morally better human beings, because of the Prophet’s PBUH teachings.
• The Prophet PBUH is appeased and pacified by Allah swt by declaring that YOUR place is higher in the eyes of Allah swt and YOU carry out your mission without being bothered by Non-believer & Hypocrite’s evilness.
Due to these drastic changes, in the norms of that society, the enemies of Islam got an opportunity to spread all sort of mischievous propaganda against the Prophet PBUH. To combat that situation, following measures were taken:
• Common Muslims were forbidden to enter house of the Prophet PBUH. If needed, only after permission, they may enter. And the Wives of Prophet PBUH were ordered not to talk with strangers, face to face. Instead from behind the door.
• Muslims were told that the wives of the Prophet PBUH are their mothers and their behavior should be accordingly, to them.
• Wives of the Prophet PBUH were commanded to be modest by observing PARDA, and covering their whole body with a veil and cover their face by lowering their veil on their faces.
• Muslims men & women were also instructed to observe modesty and women should also cover their bodies by veil.
• Rules for relatives to visit each other’s houses and share meals among relatives were allowed.
• The etiquette, Muslims should observe while invited in a marriage or party, were clearly mentioned.
• Rules of divorce and observing IDDAT after divorce are stated.
• Rules regarding interaction between Muslim women to women were also revealed.
• In the beginning of the Soorah, Muslims were reminded of their victory in Battle of Ahzaab, which they acquired without a real fight, against a big army. And they were again reminded of the booty they earned at Bani Qareeza a Jewish tribe, without a fight. That was solely Allah,s Fazal on them. Muslims were instructed not to reply Non-believers & Hypocrites in their tone, while, they disrespect, abuse, call by names the Prophet PBUH out of their jealousy. Instead they should leave and start remembering Allah swt with HIS ZIKR.
• At the end, Allah swt, instructed Muslims to always, send Durood & Salam to Prophet PBUH because Allah swt & Angels also send Salaam to the Prophet PBUH.
• Muslims are warned not act as Hazrat Moosa,s followers because they, even after observing clears signs of Allah swt, disobeyed Hazrat Moosa and were among those who were cursed by Allah swt.
• Finally, in this Soora, Muslims were instructed to fear Allah swt , be rightful and speak righteously. Obey Allah swt and the Prophet PBUH so that, they should be granted pardon and their deeds be accepted. They were appraised for attaining the place of Allah’s Khalifa, on this world, which was offered to Mountains & Skies but were refused out of fear due to their inability to withstand this responsibility.
